Instructor: Martin Campos

Thursday, 1-4pm, October 3 - December 12

This class is part one of three classes that focus on human anatomy. Taken singularly or consecutively, students will be introduced to a more intuitive approach to building form. Building knowledge from the ground up, students will arrive at a conclusion of shape through function-driven scaffolding. Investigation of the figure will start from the general to the specific. Each class will introduce the student to a segment of the body which will ultimately culminate in a whole figure.

Live and photo references will be used in this class, with charcoal and graphite pencils as the primary medium. Although this is a technical drawing class, personal line work and expression are encouraged.
